R T Series impulse dividers coupled with secondary units measure full and front chopped lightning impulses and impulse voltage with steep wave fronts. R T dividers are designed with special care so the transfer errors are negligible for LI wave shape. Resistive dividers do not have any slowdown effect on rise time as do capacitive dividers. Rise times as small as 10 ns to 60 ns can be addressed.
